Obituary

James Kevin Williams (Butch)  passed away unexpectedly on November 13, 2019 at his home in San Antonio Texas. He was the son of Willie Bell Williams and the late James Williams of Laurens South Carolina.  He was preceeded in death by his father James Williams and brother Timothy Williams.  

Mr. Williams attended and graduated from Laurens High School. Soon afterwards, he joined the United States Army in March 1975 and served as a Heavy Equipment Operater. He served a total of 20 yrs before retiring in March 1995.  After military retirement, Mr. Williams continued his employment at the Department of Defense as the Postmaster in Heidelberg Germay for another 20 years until he retired 31 March 2018.

Mr. Williams enjoyed life and  loved his mustang, sports, fishing and playing dominos but most of all, he loved spending time with his family.   He was a devoted husband, father and PaPa,  a man with a heart big as the ocean depth; always ready to help anyone in need.

He was a loving and devoted husband father grandfather and great grandfatherHe leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 40 years, sons Tyrone Caufield (Tiana Combs, Tyrone Caufield, and Tyren Caufield), daughter Latoyia Ebagua (Marquise, Malik, and Makael) Latonya Otieno (Aniya Otieno, Amir Otieno, and Arianna Atewe), and son James K. willianms Jr, and son in law Hocky(Dougie) Ebagua.  His mother Willie Belle Williams who resides in Laurens , South Carolina two sisters Brenda Williams(South Carolina) Vickie Williams-Mills ( Germany) and three brothers  Brian Williams, Tracy Williams, and  Stacy Williams all  residing in South Carolina. Mr. Williams had a total  9 grandchildren 2 great grandchildren, a host of cousins,  nephews, nieces.
