Catherine Willis Ransom aka “Bunty” was born on January 4, 1935 to the union of Clarence Robert Willis, Sr. and Willie Mae Robinson-Willis. She accepted Christ at an early age at Shiloh Baptist Church under the late Rev. Thomas Porter. Bunty received her education from Moore High School. She met and married Willie Lee Ransom, Sr.
Bunty was a quiet, loyal, and loving woman of grace who loved her family. Because of her love of food and flavors, Bunty was a loyal and dedicated Dietician Supervisor of Woodland Spring Nursing Center for forty-five plus years. Her dishes not only filled the hearts and souls of the patients at the facility, but also the many stomachs of her family members and friends.
