Christopher L. Bell, 42, of Waco, Texas, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021, at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center.
He was born in Waco, Texas, on February 4, 1979.
After attending University High School, Chris worked as a Commercial Truck Driver for over 15 years. Chris loved God and his family, and he was always working to bring his loved ones together. He had a passion for being on the road and hopes of establishing a trucking company of his own one day.
He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Williams of Marlin; grandparents, Freddie Woods Sr. and Mary Smith; uncles, Kenneth Woods Sr. and Freddie Woods Jr.; and aunt, Deborah Woods, all of Waco.
He is survived by his mother, Beverly Woods; sisters, Tosha Woods-Miles and Bobbie Jean Bell-Washington; son, Christopher T. Bell; niece, Claresha Majors; nephews, Marquesis Haynes Jr., Willie Washington III, and Darian Miles; uncles, Michael Woods and Theodore Woods Sr.; aunts, Myrtle Woods and Shirley Woods; dedicated cousins, Kenneth Woods Jr. and Freddie Woods III; and numerous family members and friends.
The graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 7th at Rosemound Cemetery, 3201 S. 12th St., Waco, TX, 76706. There will be a reception following the burial service at First Methodist Church of Waco’s South Campus, 2801 N. Robinson Drive Waco, Texas, 76706. Face masks are recommended for those attending.
