DeMarcus Desmon Minnitt was born on October 27, 1985, in Calvert, Texas, to Linda Minnitt and Tommy Mason.
He accepted Christ at an early age at Shilo Primitive Church in Calvert, Texas. He continued his membership at Shilo until he joined New Life Fellowship in Arlington, Texas on February 2, 2020.
DeMarcus lived his life to the fullest. He was always the life of the party and had a way to make everyone laugh, even during hard times. He enjoyed traveling and exploring new places. He loved to dance, often being the center of attention on the dance floor. Above all, his favorite thing to do was spending time with family and friends, especially his wife and daughter.
DeMarcus graduated from University High School in 2004. He attended Tyler Community College and Tarrant County Community College. In the early 2000s he began working as a CNA and his passion to care for others led him to earn his Med Aide Certification. While working in the medical field he received an opportunity to exhibit his outgoing personality as a waiter at On the Border. His hard working ethics allowed him to work his way up to assistant manager. In 2019 all of his hard work paid off when he became General Manager of Chicken Salad Chick, accomplishing a goal he had set for himself.
