Mrs. Dorothy Peoples was born to Douglas Brown and Teresa Benjamin on February 12, 1936. Dorothy was introduced to the body of Christ. She lived a noble and trustworthy life.
Dorothy (Dot) met her husband Clarence Peoples of 56 years in 1953. On February 19, 1954 Clarence wed Dorothy Nell Brown and they expanded their family in October 1955 with the birth of their daughter, Rhonda. They raised their daughter in San Francisco, Ca.
Shortly after the couple married they moved back to Waco, Texas where Dorothy spent most of her career serving the senior citizen community . She was intricate in early development and treatment of dementia through her work as a activities director at multiple nursing homes in waco.
After retiring she spent most of her time dedicating her life to her family. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother ,great-great grandmother, and aunt.Dorothy is survived by her loving daughter Rhonda and family, including : Martin and Sonya Dorham and William Peoples; grandson's; three great grand grand children: Ashley, Samria, and Martin Jr and great-grandchild Ayden and also with a special heart Drontae Peoples. A host of loving nieces and nephews; Rorbert, Paula, Gregory, Estella, and Mae. Special relatives including Clara, Donna , Kenny, KG and ruby .And an abundant amount of other family members and friends.
