Glenn Edward Williams, 54, of Waco, Texas turned his last signal on to exit the highway of life on November 15, 2022, at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, Glenn managed his illness with strength and grace.
Glenn was born in Waco, TX on June 20, 1968, to Ernest Williams Sr. and Shirley Williams. He attended Waco Independent schools graduating from Waco High School in 1988. He later attended Houston Community College receiving his Commercial Operator License.
February 28th of 2004, Glenn married his loving wife and helpmate Shanta. To the
union the two united their children to form a close-knit, devoted family. Glenn loved spending time with his children teaching them to be dutiful people in society. He was always there for them through the ups and downs of life and reminded them to live life and enjoy every minute. When he became a grandfather, his heart filled with joy. He spent every day he could with them making memories. Big Red kept her Paw Paw on his toes, he couldn’t make a move without his shadow in tow. Glenn was proud of his family; his family was the most important thing in the world to him. He was an excellent provider, protector, and leader. There was nothing in this world his family could not have within his reach. He loved cracking jokes and meddling. It wasn’t a day he met a stranger, he greeted all with his huge unforgettable smile.
Glenn was a devoted team member of Big Creek Construction until his health failed. Driving trucks and working on his Jag was a passion he held dear to his heart.
Glenn was proceeded in death by his mother Shirley Williams, his Father Ernest Williams Sr., and two brothers James Williams and Gary Williams.
