Pastor Mitchell Lee Davis was born on July 23, 1956 to Adell Wooten &father John Davis, Stepfather Willie (Bo) Wooten in the Valley Brownville, Tx
Mitchell graduated from Crockett High and attend College at Pau| QuinnCollege in Waco, TX. In came to Waco, TX in 1974.
He was employed at 7-11 in 1974 while attending college. Also, heworked for Levi Strauss, Mercury Tool, Data Point in Waco. He managed the Quick Pak stores for 15 years and became the owner, operator/family business of The Corner Stop in 1991. In between hours Mitchell had his own Lawn Service business.
He was a hard worker. He was also a very giving person. Mitch loved totalk to people and hear their stories. He was always there to encouragethose who were going through tough times and always your biggestcheerleader. Once you met him and talked to him, you never forgot him.He had a way of being able to talk with anyone. He has impacted so manypeople lives and is loved by all. Pastor Mitchell Davis many ministries were jail house, nursing home, Streets and The Corner Stop Store. Better known as (Mitches). He met his beautiful wife at 7-11 on Elm St. Mitch went home and left her at 711 Brook Street. Pastor Mitchell Davis was theloving devoted Pastor of Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church.
Pastor Davis will be truly be missed by his congregation.

Pastor Mitchell Davls Is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 46 years Joyce Davis. (daughter) Tarsha Sterling(Bobbiej,( son) Kevin Coleman( Kami)(daughter) Le’5heena Davis ( Freddie). Four grandsons. Two brothers: Boris Cooper (Coco), Steven (Yolunda) Davis. Four sisters: Nettie Cooper Houston, TX. Delolse Tena (James) Davis. Christie Wootenof Crockett, TX. Jaunita Davis Tyler, TX. Host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
