Reginald was born in Waco Texas May 5, 1968 to parents, Ruby Bryant and the late Emerson Sims.
Reggie grew up mostly in Waco with his mother and only brother Eddie Dean Harrison. He loved to play with his cousins Wayne,Vickie, Stephanie, and Larry. Later Byron,J.J.Oticia,Smooky,Scooter, Sonny, LaMont, and Steven were added to the bunch. Rachel came later and Reggie fell in love with the new beautiful baby girl. These cousins grew up like siblings, playing and fighting!
He graduated from Waco High School and enlisted in United States Army for three years. He returned to Waco where he was employed at various companies; food service in Ridgewood Country Club, Sherwin Williams, Central Freight, and Sanderson Farms until his health failed.
He joined and was baptized at Community Missionary Baptist Church where he remained a member until death.
Reggie was a loving husband and step-father. He married Freda Richie and their life was enriched by her three children.
He was preceded in death by father, step-father Mathew Rogers; maternal grandparents Luke and Lucille Bryant, and paternal grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Sims; three aunts, and one uncle.
Left to cherish memories of his wonderful life; loving and devoted wife Freda Richie; devoted mother Ruby Harrison-Rogers, one brother Eddie Dean (Jennifer) Harrison; three step-children Sha’Marie Robinson, Danash Moore, & James Hardy; grandson Kasem Waldron; three bonus children from previous relationship, Bronsha Ward, Brittany Raphiel and Dedric Jackson; one niece Whitney Harrison, one great niece, K’harri Harrison; mother-in-law Kathleen (Clyde) Richie; two aunts; Johnnie (Wilmer) Bailey and Gladys (Robert) Graves; five uncles Melvin (Joyce) Bradford, Sterling (Debra) Bryant, LaCurtis (Terry) Bryant, Mark Bryant and Luke (Gwen) Bryant; one sister-in-law Crystal(Chris) Williams, three brother-in-laws David (Tina) Richie, Kenneth (Renee) Richie, & Dwain (Erika) Richie; four great aunts,two great uncles,and a host of cousins,family and friends.
