Rosalind Vanette Arrington (Lovett) was born on November 15, 1945 in Waco, Texas. She is the eldest of 7 children. She was a kind and loving person who was full of joy and compassion. Despite all of the trials and tribulations that she had to endure in her lifetime, she always remained strong and humble and was the glue that held her family together. In her early life she received her GED and later married Reginald Arrington in Waco, Texas which of whom was a Veteran in the United States Army stationed in Fort Hood, Texas. They later relocated with their two small children to Chicago, Illinois where their union brought forth three more children. After raising her children, she continued her education and attended McLennan Community College in Waco, Texas and earned a Associate’s Degree in Childhood development in which was one of her passions to work with children. She truly loved Jehovah GOD and enjoyed reading His word on a daily basis. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family; loving, nurturing, and caring for them. She had the brightest smile and laughter that made everyone happy and feel loved and welcomed.
She is preceded in death by her Husband Reginald Arrington, Mother Mrs. Jessie Mae Watkins, Children Roshun (Arrington) Hallom and Dushun Arrington; Siblings Jimmy Watkins, Daryl Wagner, and Donna Hudlin.
She leaves to cherish her legacy; Daughter Beverly (James) Cooper, Daughter Odra (Alvin) Hicks, Son Reginald (Connie) Arrington; Grandchildren Sabrina (Robert) Cruz, Phillip (Olivia) Arrington, Alex Hicks, Alexis Hicks, William (Ken) Arrington, Reginald Arrington, Jr, Jordan Arrington, Jeremy Arrington, Jermaine Johnson and Jason Johnson; Great Grandchildren Trestan Arrington, RJ Cruz, JR, Jeremiah Arrington, Jazzy, Nyla& Wynter Arrington. Siblings; Sister Valera (Paul) Foster, Brothers Ronnie (Joyce) Watkins and Frederick Watkins and a host of family and friends.
