Shirley Ann Walker was born February 17th, 1950 to Crosby Lee and Lillie Mae Walker. She attended schools in Waco,Tx. She accepted Jesus Christ at an early age. She worked at WISD in the cafeteria and drove the school bus for many years. She was known in the Villages Apartments as The Cookie Lady, always baking those big delicious cookies. She was a church member of Mount Zion UMC until the church merged with Bracks UMC, which is now One Fellowship UMC. She sang in the choir for many years. She was a loving mother and Grandmother. She loved her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Pearl Walker Jr. and her sister Pearly Faith Holston.
She leaves to cherish her memories: Three daughters Sherry(Cole) Gulley, Natasha Lynn Smith both of Waco, Sheryl Elaine Wood (Robert) of Dayton, Ohio and one son Harvey Stubblefield of Waco. Three sisters Tommie Webb of Waco, Beverly Coleman of Boise, Idaho and Louise Walker of Mesquite,Texas. Two brother’s Eddie Walker and Daniel Mayberry of Waco. Fourteen grandkids and twelve great grandkids. A devoted friend and sister for over 50 years Lena Price. A special thank you to her devoted friend of many years Freddie Holmes for always being there for her, her kids and her grandkids. The congregation of One Fellowship United Methodist Church and her co-workers at STS Transportation.
